"A pleasant surprise find after visiting the Chocolate Hills. Saw the review is good, and it didn't disappoint. We had a Chicken Inasal Paa / Pecho for 150 pesos, a Grilled Tuna Panga for 150 pesos and a Halo-Halo with Homemade Ice Cream for 80 pesos, the bestsellers of the restaurant. The Chicken Inasal is grilled with a nice coating of marinated sauce. Drizzling the lime on the chicken really accentuate the flavor. It is good to eat on its own without the rice. For 150 pesos, it is definitely a great deal. Likely for the Grilled Tuna Panga, coated with the same marinated sauce, with lime provided. The tuna is grilled well, however, some part of the skin is burnt. Overall, still a great deal. Did I mention that the meal for both includes a drink and an ice cream? Yes! We are provided with a sweet cucumber drink, so refreshing in the hot weather, coupled with the grilled meat we had. As for the ice cream, we got the Mango flavor and Ube-Peanut Flavor. So delighted and really surprised that the Ube-Peanut is actually quite a nice combination. If you want to try a new flavor combination, Ube-Peanut is the one to try. Oh, they also have Coconut flavor ice cream. Lastly, I ordered a Halo-Halo with their ice cream, since it's my first Halo-Halo in the Philippines. Sweet as usual, but the homemade ice cream with cornflakes topping is a nice touch, tasty Ube flavor ice cream with a crunch. That's all about the food. The staff is friendly. The environment is nicely decorated, with a section with Valentine's Day decorations and a section with Birthday decorations. So it seems to cater for events you wish to celebrate. Additionally, the music is a nice old classic rock songs when I was there. Surprisingly, the place is empty during weekday lunch time, so we had the whole place to ourselves. With such great value, I wonder why not more people dine here, for tourists who are looking for a nice meal after visiting Chocolate Hills. Definitely a meal spot before or after Chocolate Hills!"
